Congratulations to you and your class for representing your state
at the 2011 We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution
National Finals!

Dear Teachers:

On behalf of the Center for Civic Education, I want to personally congratulate you and your students for representing your state at the 2011 We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution National Finals. We at the Center all appreciate your hard work and dedication to teaching about the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The civic knowledge, skills, and dispositions exhibited by your students is directly influenced by your teaching. Because of your leadership, your students will come to Washington, D.C., for the national finals prepared to demonstrate during the hearings their knowledge, understanding, and application of constitutional principles and ideas.

As a consequence of your involvement in the We the People program, your students have become more enlightened citizens ready to tackle the difficult political, social, and economic issues we all face as Americans. Good luck to you and your class!
