Lesson Purpose

In this lesson, you will learn about the Philadelphia Convention of 1787. You will learn about some of the Framers who attended the convention. You will also learn about the decisions that the Framers made at the start of the meeting.

Lesson Objectives

When you finish this lesson, you should be able to explain why Congress called for the Philadelphia Convention, and explain the decisions that the delegates made at the start of the meeting.
