Project Citizen Tracer Study (Philippines)


The Philippine Center for Civic Education and Democracy interviewed Project Citizen students two to five years after their participation in the program and found that Project Citizen impacted the participants in the following aspects: social awareness, social and communication skills, change in attitude towards active participation in the community, research skills, critical thinking skills, leadership, and teamwork. Learning to Live Together: An Evaluation of Civic-Link


A 2003 program evaluation of Civic-Link, Co-operation Ireland’s adaptation of the Center’s Project Citizen curricular program, found that the three-year pilot program achieved its aims of young people developing mutual understanding and respect for diversity as well as demonstrating higher levels of interest in and knowledge about participating in community and public life.
