Gary Wise is the Center for Civic Education's Director of Operations and Information Technology. Gary is a multifaceted, strategic, and results-driven senior-level director with 15+ years of experience driving innovation and delivering strategic technology solutions. Gary is passionate about the organization with respect to its people, products, and resources. Gary is an expert in overseeing IT operations, managing technology infrastructure, leading cross-functional teams, and aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals. Gary has most recently worked at a SaaS software company as a software implementation and support engineer. Gary has also worked as a IT Director at a large community foundation with over $1B in assets. Gary has also worked for Apple, Inc, higher education, and at a prestigious art museum in South Texas.

Gary Wise is also a new media and video artist, photographer, and curator. Gary's works include: new and emerging media, video, interactive installations, internet, social media, and participatory artworks. Gary also writes about the convergence of art, film, and technology. Gary lives with his wife and dog in Southern California. Gary is always searching for the perfect cup of coffee.
