Leming, Director We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution Center for Civic Education Overview The Justice Is Also Deaf workshop for educators of the deaf is a professional development opportunity held jointly between the Center for Civic Education, Civication, Inc., and the Center for the Constitution at James Madison's Montpelier. Focused exclusively on educators of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, the four-day workshop trains these educators in constitutional issues and introduces them to the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution program, including its signature simulated congressional hearing activity.
