| Prescott High School Team Places Fourth in Constitution State Competition |

Prescott High School placed fourth in Arizona's We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution state championship on January 6 at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. Corona del Sol High School in Tempe placed first.
![]() More than four hundred students competed in the state competition, which was sponsored by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education and the Arizona Supreme Court. Teacher Mark Goligoski said, "our students did an amazing job and represented our school with poise and class throughout the competition. The students really knew their stuff. For them to have the experience, do the work, to perform the way they did, they really stepped up and did it."
The championship qualifies Corona del Sol to represent Arizona in the 25th Anniversary We the People National Finals, held April 27-May 1 in Washington, D.C., and at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
