Local Lawmaker Congratulates Students On Statewide Achievement

Michigan State Representative Cindy Denby congratulated Howell High School students for their participation in the Michigan state We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution finals. Howell placed second in the finals; East Grand Rapids High School captured the state title.

Denby was quoted as saying that "she is always impressed by the vast amount of knowledge students bring to the table and has no doubt that many future government leaders were part of the exciting competition and she’s anxious to see what they achieve in the future."
