|
89.3 KPCC | January 4, 2012
In an interview recently rebroadcast on Los Angeles radio station KPCC, Pat Morrison spoke with the Center's executive director, Charles N. Quigley, to discuss the National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) civics results. Only about three-quarters of American students at the fourth and eighth grades scored at the Basic or above levels of achievement, while less than two-thirds of twelfth-graders did, according to Civics 2010: National Assessment of Education Progress at Grades 4, 8, and 12. You can listen to Morrison's interview with Quigley online at KPCC. You can read Quigley's essay, Call to Action, on the Center's website.
